OUR MISSION
At CareForward, we help children and young people in care to understand and exercise their legal rights. We provide accessible information, workshops, and mentorship programmes to ensure every young person can speak up and be heard.

Our
Story
Get to Know Us
CareForward was born from personal experience. Our founder, entered care at the age of 5 and faced a journey filled with uncertainty, unsuitable placements, and a lack of guidance about her rights. Throughout her time in care, she often felt isolated and unheard, navigating complex decisions alone. Having experienced firsthand how confusing the care system can be, CareForward was created to empower care-experienced children and young people with clear and accesible legal knowledge, giving them the tools to understand their rights, speak up, and take control of their future. Through workshops, self-referral advice, mentoring programs, and child-friendly resources, CareForward is building a support network that puts young people at the heart of every decision affecting them. We believe that every child and young person in care deserves to be informed, supported, and heard.
